Students in Senior 1 (Grade 10) and Senior 2 (Grade 11) continue to study Chinese courses. After they successfully earn 144 credits from all the Chinese courses they have taken, they are able to gain the Chinese High School Diploma. Two credits are granted in recognition of the successful completion of a module in a course that has been scheduled for a minimum of 36 periods (27 hours). The number of modules of each course differs from one another. The courses listed below are also used as equivalencies toward an Ontario Secondary School Diploma:
